Acute ulsers are short-dated and painful lesions which are caused by traumas, immunologic reasons or infections. They are commonly seen in tongue, cheeks and lips. They can be caused by bacteria or fungni.

It is painful, peripheral erythematous, and pale in the circle. The diameter of lesions is 1-2mms. Mouthwash with lidocain or steroid treatments are beneficial as a treatment.
